‘The Lamb’ to vie at Fajr filmfest

Iranian animation ‘The Lamb’ is slated to vie at Fajr Film Festival.

This year’s edition of the Iranian event will host the latest production Owj Arts and Media Organization ‘The Lamb’.

This is the third exclusive production of the cultural organization after ‘Holy Cast’ and ‘Dolphin Boy’.

“The lamb, who always reads the heroic owl magazines about flying, dreams of flying and wants to fly like a bird,” a short synopsis of the 3D animated piece reads.

The next films to be produced by Owj will be based on the Sacred Defense, renowned martyrs, history of Islam and the events of the Islamic Revolution.

The Owj Arts and Media Organization is a Tehran-based institution producing revolutionary works in art and cinema.

The FFF coincides with the Ten-Day Fajr ceremonies across Iran, marking the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Starting from 2023, the domestic and international versions of Fajr will be once again held as part of one event titled “Fajr International Film Festival”.

Since its establishment in 1982, the FFF has played a vital role in the development of Iranian Cinema.

The 41st edition of the event is scheduled for February 01-11, 2023.
